Playground Industry Partner Program
As part of the ongoing efforts to make it easy to bring inclusive play to every community, Boundless Playgrounds issued an open invitation to the national playground industry to establish a new approach for creating barrier-free playgrounds. Seven companies that recognize the developmental advantages of play for children of all abilities are committed to working with Boundless Playgrounds. Miracle Recreation Equipment Company, Little Tikes Commercial, Playworld Systems, GameTime, Play & Park Structures, BigToys and Recreation Creations offer a selection of Boundless Playgrounds Certified Models on their websites, in their catalogs and through their local sales representatives.

Boundless Playgrounds Certified Models follow Boundless Playgrounds Performance Criteria to ensure that the equipment is developmentally appropriate and the configuration is barrier-free. Both of these elements will support children, regardless of ability, being in the middle of play. All seven partners can provide equipment configurations that meet these standards, welcoming children with and without disabilities and supporting their development of life skills. In addition, each Certified Model includes a layout of safety surfacing that allows for inclusion in the completed play environment.

While a selection of models is available, each partner is able to create a customized equipment layout for their clients and submit it to Boundless Playgrounds for certification.

While a Boundless™ playground starts with a Boundless Playgrounds Certified Model, it must also meet additional criteria within the actual play environment. Registration in Go Play! is required to obtain services to confirm that the installed playground does meet Boundless Playgrounds established standards. Membership in the Get Ready…Get Set…Go Play! programs also offers valuable community materials, tools and services to support the development of the playground.
