Meet the Team - Executive Team Bio's
FREDERICK A. LEONE
Chief Executive Officer
Frederick A. Leone is the Chief Executive Officer of Boundless Playgrounds, Inc. Leone's prior corporate experience includes, serving as Senior Vice President and General Counsel For The Americas for The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd. where he provided executive oversight for all legal and compliance matters; and serving as Senior Real Estate Counsel at the international law firm of Rogers & Wells (now known as Clifford Chance LLP).
Leone also has extensive nonprofit experience with groups such as the RAIN Community Land Trust, Target Margin Theater, Big Brother – Big Sister, and The AIDS Resource Center. He formally served as an elected member of the governing board for Elwood, New York Public Schools. Leone was also the only five-term President of The Yale Club of New York City, an 11,000-member university club serving Yale alumni.
Leone has a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Yale University and a juris doctorate from the Fordham University School of Law.
RHONDA E. SCHWARTZ
Chief Operating Officer
Rhonda E. Schwartz serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Boundless Playgrounds, Inc. Schwartz brings 16 years of experience as an attorney at top law firms in Manhattan, where she achieved the rank of partner. In 2004, Schwartz redirected her career toward public service. To that end, she returned to Rhode Island and obtained a Masters Degree in social work from Rhode Island College. Schwartz spent the next two years working at the Rhode Island Department of Elderly Affairs, where she assisted with program supervision, proposal development and grant management. Most notably, her development of a comprehensive reverse mortgage legislation was unanimously adopted by the Rhode Island General Assembly.
Schwartz has also served her community in a volunteer capacity. From 1989 to 2004, she performed pro bono legal services for Bailey House, Inc., an organization that provides housing and support services for people living with HIV/AIDS and their families, and also served on its Board of Directors.
Schwartz earned a Baccalaureate of Science in business administration from Georgetown University and a juris doctorate from Columbia University.
